Chocolate-Dipped Bugles

1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter (room temperature)
6 cups original-flavor Bugles (see note)
12 ounces milk chocolate candy coating

Fill plastic food bag with peanut butter. Cut small hole in corner of bag. Twisting open end of bag tight, carefully pipe the peanut butter into the Bugles.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt candy coating at 70% power for 11/2 minutes. Stir. Heat 1 to 11/2 minutes longer or until melted; stir until smooth. Chocolate can also be melted in the top of a double boiler. Dip the filled end of each Bugles halfway into the chocolate coating. Place on waxed paper to dry. Makes about 14 dozen confections.

Note: Look for Bugles that have wide openings so peanut butter can easily be piped in. Do not overfill with peanut butter or it will leak out into the chocolate.
