The Great Pumpkin Cake

Just follow our simple steps 

1 Prepare 1 (2-layer size) cake mix, your favourite flavour, in a 12-cup bundt cake pan as per package directions. 

2 BEAT 1 pkg (250 g) Philadelphia Cream Cheese and 1/4 cup softened butter until smooth. Gradually add 4 cups icing sugar; beating until smooth. 

3 Tint 1/2 cup of the icing with green food colouring. Frost outside of one flat-bottom ice cream cone with about 1/4 cup of the green frosting; set aside. Reserve remaining 1/4 cup green frosting for piping lines on cake. 

4 Tint remaining frosting with red and yellow food colouring to make an orange colour. Frost cake with orange frosting. Invert ice cream cone in hole on top to form "stem". Pipe reserved green frosting on pumpkin to form lines using a small plastic bag.

Fun Idea 
Flatten black gumdrops with rolling pin on a smooth flat surface or sheet of waxed paper sprinkled with sugar. Roll until very thin, turning frequently to coat with sugar. Cut into face shapes and turn this pumpkin cake into a festive Jack O' Lantern.
