Dot's Chocolate Chip Fudge

5 cups sugar
1/2 pound butter
1 large can evaporated milk
3 (6 ounce) packages Chocolate Chips - semi-sweet (not milk)
1 bag regular marshmallows (or 6 cups miniature or 1 7 1/5 g jar of kraft fluff)
1 pound chopped nuts
2 teaspoons vanilla

Check the ingredients you want to add to your cart.

Boil sugar, butter, and evaporated milk for 8 minutes - rolling boil

Add chocolate chips and marshmallows. Beat until melted. Add chopped nuts and vanilla. Pour into buttered 9x13 pan.



Helpful Hints
I skip the nuts. It has an interesting gritty texture to it, not a smooth, store bought feel. I've had a lot of complements on the fudge at bake sales. It is VERY rich.
