Butter Bean Soup

1/2-pound bulk pork sausage
1/4-cup sliced green onion
(3) 16-ounce cans butter beans
2-cups milk
(1) 10 3/4-ounce can condensed tomato soup
1-tsp salt
1/2-tsp dried thyme, crushed
Dash pepper
In large saucepan cook sausage and onion till sausage is done. Drain off fat. To
sausage add undrained beans, milk, soup, salt, thyme, and pepper. Heat to
boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes. Top with more sliced green
onions, if desired. Serves 6.
