Alfredo Sauce
1/2 stick butter
2 cloves minced garlic
1 cup milk
1 tsp chopped parsley
dash cayenne pepper
dash nutmeg
salt & pepper to taste
1 1/4 cups shredded Asiago cheese (or freshly shredded parmesan)
Melt the butter in a large pan, saute garlic briefly, but don't let it brown. Add milk, parsley, cayenne pepper, black pepper and salt. Stir with a whisk to combine and cook until heated through and it starts to thicken. Gradually add cheese and stir till it melts. Pour over your cooked pasta & mix thoroughly. Sprinkle with extra Asiago.
Add some heated up cooked chicken pieces if you want.
