Amish Peach Pie

1 1/4 Cup Sugar 
1 1/2 Cup Water 
1/3 Cup Cornstarch 
1/4 tsp salt 
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice 


Cook until thick and cool. Add 1/4 Cup Peach Jello (1/2 of 3oz package). Put slices peaches into baked crust - pour over. 

1 - 8 inch pie crust 
1/4 Cup Lard 
3/4 Cup flour 
1/2 tsp salt 
2 Tblsp water 
2 - 8 inch crusts 
1/2 Cup Lard 
1 1/3 Cup flour 
1 tsp salt 
1/4 Cup water 
2- 9 inch crust 
2/3 Cup Lard 
1 3/4 Cup flour 
1 tsp salt 
1/4 Cup water 


Combine lard, flour and salt until like coarse meal, add water. Mix with fork until round ball.
