Whiskey Marinade for Beef

If you are worried about alcohol in whiskey, it evaporates as heated. Otherwise, substitute a juice.

1 cup dark Japanese soy sauce
¼ cup steak sauce
1 cup whiskey or pineapple juice
2 tablespoons roasted garlic or 6 cloves garlic, minced
4 boneless sirloin steak strips

Mix marinade in low-sided dish or plastic portable container with lid (if cooking at site). Place steaks in marinade; cover and refrigerate for 1 hour to 24 hours. Remove meat from marinade; discard marinade and grill to desired doneness.
