Sweet and Spicy Veal Chops

2 veal rib or loin chops, cut ¾-inch thick
1 large clove garlic, crushed
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
1/8 to ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper
¼ teaspoon pepper
¼ teaspoon salt

Combine garlic and ¼ teaspoon pepper; press evenly on both sides of veal chops. In large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat until hot. Place chops in skillet and cook 9 to 11 minutes for medium doneness, turning once. Remove veal; sprinkle with ¼ teaspoon salt. Keep warm.

Pour off drippings, if necessary. Add vinegar, sugar and red pepper. Cook and stir over high heat 30 seconds or until slightly reduced. Pour sauce over chops.
