Shrimp Kabobs
The shrimp tastes best when cooked beside other meat, like steak, so that they get some of the smoke flavor.
1 pound shrimp, or as needed
1/2 stick butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Stick as many shrimp on a skewer as possible. I use metal ones. If you use wood skewers, be sure to soak them in water first, otherwise they'll burn. Melt the butter and add garlic powder to it. Toss the shrimp kabobs over the fire or grill and baste with the butter and garlic as they cook. It doesn't take long over hot coals, about 5 minutes usually.
