Cranberry Hooty Creeks 

1/2 cup plus 2 tbls. flour 
1/2 cup rolled oats 
1/2 cup flour mixed with 1/2 tsp. baking soda and 1/2 tsp. salt 
1/3 cup plus 1 tbls. packed brown sugar 
1/3 cup white sugar 
1/2 cup dried cranberries 
1/2 cup pecans 
Layer the ingredients in a quart jar in order as listed.

Cranberry Hooty Creeks

In a medium bowl, cream together: 1/2 cup butter 
or margarine (softened), 1 egg, 1 tsp.
vanilla. Add the entire jar of ingredients and
mix together by hand until well blended. Drop by
heaping spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350* for 8-10 min.
