Cheese and Olive Lamburgers


The olives make these burgers great!

Serves 4 

1/4 cup ripe olives, chopped 
2 tablespoons green pepper, finely chopped 
1 tablespoons onion, finely chopped 
1 tablespoon mango chutney 
4 Kaiser rolls 
4 lettuce leaves 
4 slices tomato 

In a small bowl stir together the cheese, olives, green pepper, onion, and chutney or marmalade. Shape lamb into 8 thin patties about 4-inches in diameter. Spoon cheese-olive mixture onto the center of four of the patties. Top each with another patty, pressing edges to seal filling inside. Broil 4-inches from the heat for about 5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Serve on toasted buns with lettuce leaf and sliced tomato. Pass additional chutney, if desired.
