Chicken & Lettuce Salad

3 chicken breast, cooked & cubed
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 pkg slivered almonds
1 head of lettuce, chopped
1 sm. can water chestnuts, drained

Dressing:
1/3 cup oil
4 tbsp white vinegar
4 tbsp sugar*
salt & pepper to taste
1/2 tsp Accent seasoning
1 tbsp poppy seeds

2 cups Chow Mien noodles

Toss together the salad ingredients. Put all dressing ingredients in a blender & mix well.

Pour over salad ingredients & chicken. Just before serving add the 2 cups of noodles.

* This is a very sweet dressing so I usually only add 2 tbsp of the sugar. Then add more if you like.

For the chicken breast: I just boil them in about 2 cups of chicken broth with some salt, pepper &

garlic till thoroughly cooked & the broth has reduced down to about less than half. Let cool then cube.
