Butter Tarts

pastry dough or tart shells put into tart tins
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 cup maple syrup or 1/2 cup maple syrup & a 1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup raisins

Cream sugar and butter together. Beat in eggs, vanilla, lemon juice and a pinch of nut meg.

Blend in syrup and add walnuts and raisins. Place filling in tart shells and bake at 375F for 20 minutes.
