Anise Shrimp w/ Buttered Noodles
Serves 4-6
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp parsley flakes
2 tsp crushed garlic
2 tsp dried anise
1/4 tsp ground pepper
18-24 jumbo shrimp
1- 8oz package fresh egg noodles or dried
1/4 cup butter, or you could use a good olive oil
salt & pepper to taste
Melt butter in skillet, add parsley, garlic, anise & pepper. Mix &
set aside. Clean shrimp and place between paper towels to dry
thoroughly. Just before
you are ready to serve dinner, reheat butter mixture, add shrimp, cooking
for 1 minute on either side.
Cook the noodles as directed, drain well. Add the butter or olive oil, salt
& pepper, blend thoroughly. Spoon the shrimp evenly over noodles per
serving. Enjoy!
NOTE: A nice Rice Pilaf could also work with this recipe.
