Cheese Danish Muffins

Prep Time: 30 minutes 

2 (3-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 
3 tablespoons sugar 
1 egg 
2 (7-oz.) pkg. Martha WhiteŽ Muffin Mix, any fruit flavor 
1 cup milk 

Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Grease 12 muffin cups. In large bowl, combine cream cheese and sugar; beat until smooth. Add egg; beat well. 
In medium bowl, combine muffin mix and milk; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full. Top each muffin with about 1 tablespoon cream cheese mixture. 
Bake at 425 degrees F. for 12 to 15 minutes or until cream cheese is set. Serve warm. Store in refrigerator.
