Banana-Pecan Muffins

1 pkg. Duncan Hines banana cake mix
3 eggs
1 cup water
½ cup chopped pecans
1/3 cup Crisco oil
1 small ripe banana, mashed

Preheat over to 350°. Grease and flour 2 ½-in muffin cups (or use paper liners.) Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Stir until well blended. Fill muffin cups to within ¼-in. from the pan top. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 to 10 minutes. 

Yield: 24 muffins
