Crêpe aux pommes

(Oven-Baked Apple Crêpe)

7 or 8 apples
1/2 cup sugar (125 ml)
1/3 cup water (85 ml)
2 tablespoons butter (30 ml)
2 or 3 whole eggs
3 tablespoons flour (45 ml)
4 tablespoons sugar (60 ml)
1 cup milk (250 ml)

Peel and slice apples into thick slices. Make a syrup with the sugar, water and butter. Simmer apples in syrup until tender. Place cooked appled in a buttered baking dish.

Beat together eggs, flour, sugar, and milk until light and fluffy. Spread over apples. Bake for 50 minutes in a 350°F oven.
