Blueberry Grunt

1 quart of blueberries
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup of sugar

Boil blueberries, water and sugar in a saucepan until there is plenty of juice.

Sift together 2 cups of flour, 2 tsp of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1 tsp of sugar. Add 1 tbsp of butter and sufficient milk to make a soft dough (approximately 1 3/4 cups of milk). Drop dough by tablespoons over berries, cover and cook for 15 minutes.

This is good and relatively quick for when unexpected guests arrive.
