Chicken Breast Cacciato

2-3 lbs Boneless Chicken breast
1/3 cup flour
1 tablespoon oil
1 Medium green pepper
2 Medium onions
1 can (14 1/2 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
8 oz mushrooms
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. salt
2 2garlic cloves, finely chopped
Grated Parmesan cheese
Coat chicken with four. Heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until
browned on all sides; drain.
Cut bell pepper and onions crosswise in half; cut each half into fourths.
Place chicken in slow cooker. Mix everything except vegetables in a bowl and
pour onto chicken.
Cover and cook on low setting 4 to 6 hours; add vegetables during the last hour.
**Delicious over cappellini or thin spaghetti.
