Fresh Strawberry Coffee Cake

Cake:
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
2 tbs. butter, melted
2 c. fresh strawberries, chopped
Topping:
1/2 c. EACH: flour, sugar
1/4 c. EACH: butter, chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 375F. Mix all cake batter ingredients, 
except for strawberries, until just blended. 
Spread mixture into a greased 8" square pan. 
Arrange berries over batter evenly. 
Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over berries.
Bake for 35-40 min. and serve warm. Serves 6.
