Heinz 57 Meatloaf

This is an old recipe and it is from Heinz 57. 

1 1/2 lbs ground beef 
1 slightly beaten egg 
1/2 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs (I use Italian bread crumbs) 
1/4 cup finely chopped onion 
1/3 cup milk 
1/4 cup Heinz 57 sauce 
3/4 tsp salt 
1/8 tsp pepper

Shape into a loaf (8"x4"x1 1/2") in shallow baking pan. Bake in 350 oven for 1 hour. Allow meat loaf to stand 5 minutes before slicing. 
Serves 6

Connie's Note: I only bake mine for 45 minutes and it seems fine. This is a very good meat loaf. Sometimes I put some sauce on the top before baking.
