Danish Sour Cream Swiss Steak

1 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
4 Tablespoons Flour
2 Pounds Swiss Steak
3 Tablespoons Butter
1 Small Onion -- finely chopped
3 Tablespoons Tomato Puree
1/2 Cup Water
1 Cup Sour Cream

Mix salt and pepper with flour and pound into the steak. Brown steak in butter, add onion, tomato puree and water.

Cover simmer 1 hour. Add sour cream, mix well, simmer 30 minutes more: serve.
